One of the hot newish companies at SXSW this year is Kyte.tv, a video-streaming service that lets users upload video from their mobile phones or webcams to be distributed through their own Kyte channel, which can be embedded across the Web. It's a cool service, and several blogs, including Silicon Alley Insider, are calling it the Twitter of this year's SXSW. -PCmag

Twiddla, this year's winner of the Technical Achievement award at SXSW, is a team whiteboarding service that offers a no-setup, online meeting web site for team collaboration.  It's "features" page sums it up best, only two items were mentioned: "Kicks A**, Doesn't Cost Anything." - ReadWriteWeb

SXSWi: Monday's keynote session with Frank Warren, founder of popular Postsecret.com, where strangers send in anonymous postcards revealing their deepest secret, ended with not only two unexpected secrets revealed from audience members but also a standing ovation.  - Star-Telegram

Twitter Joker Skewers Austin Party Scene From Afar:  Honan Mat Honan is twittering the hell out of South by Southwest, chronicling the scene on the ground and turning his caustic wit on the rolling party in Austin. Only problem is, Honan is nowhere near Texas. His crazy tweets poke fun at the digerati and the unscrubbed geek masses gathered for the film and interactive festival - Wired
Anil Dash of Six Apart took top dog honors at BattleDecks II, a Friday night panel at South by Southwest that was billed as a cross between PowerPoint and karaoke. - Wired
Twitter announced it is lowering the API limit for third parties during SXSW (March 6 - 12) - from 70 to 50 req/hour. They are trying to make sure they can handle the SXSW traffic that is expected to be extremely high.  Mar 05  9pm CST
